   low priced HD CAMERA… yea u can get a low priced camera for around that range (100-200) but for HD… u have to go higher… and 1000 bucks for an HD camera… is CHEAP!!…..

   There are no good cameras under 300$. 300$ cameras are the bottom of the barrel,entry level cameras.

    A thousand dollars for a starter camera? i hope he is kidding! i recently got a panasonic mini DV cam on Ebay for $65, takes great clear video and has a few minor scratches and the battery does not have the full original charge but it is pretty close, has 30x optical and 1000 digital zoom and even lets you take stills via an SD card, you can even use it in pc mode as a high quality web cam, video outputs as AVI and is crystal clear, why would i need anything better?
